This privacy policy applies to Carely (operated by AutoLeGen Pty Ltd, ABN to be confirmed), referred to as “Carely,” “we,” “us,” or “our” throughout this document.

What This Policy Covers

This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information when you use the Carely platform (carely.au) and related services. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, business name, role
  • Billing information: payment details processed securely via Stripe (we do not store credit card numbers)
  • Platform data: contacts, messages, notes, files, and other content you create or upload to Carely
  • Communications: emails, support requests, and other correspondence with us

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: how you interact with the platform (pages visited, features used, session duration)
  • Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system
  • Cookies: we use cookies for authentication, preferences, and analytics

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Provide and operate the Carely platform
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
  • Improve the platform based on usage patterns
  • Send marketing communications (only with your consent, and you can opt out anytime)
  • Comply with legal obligations

We will not sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.

Data Hosting and Security

The Carely platform is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud. These services use globally distributed data centres with industry-leading security certifications.

Important: Our cloud infrastructure is globally distributed. We do not guarantee that your data will be stored exclusively within Australia. Data may be processed and stored in data centres located outside of Australia, in accordance with the security and compliance standards of AWS and Google Cloud.

Security measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
  • Access controls and authentication requirements
  • Regular security updates and monitoring
  • Secure payment processing via Stripe (PCI DSS compliant)

Third Parties and Disclosure

We may share your information with the following third parties, solely to provide the Carely service:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • AWS and Google Cloud — hosting and infrastructure
  • Communication providers — SMS, email, and voice services (e.g. Twilio, Mailgun)
  • Integration partners — only when you connect third-party services (e.g. Xero, Zoom, Zapier)

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

Your Data, Your Rights

Your content belongs to you

Any contacts, messages, files, and data you create or upload to Carely remain your property. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Access and correction

You can access and update your personal information through your Carely account at any time. If you need help, contact us at privacy@carely.au.

Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@carely.au. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.

Data export

You can export your data from the platform at any time. We support CSV export for contacts and other records.

Opt out of marketing

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly.

Cookies

We use cookies for:

  • Essential cookies — authentication and session management (required for the platform to work)
  • Analytics cookies — understanding how the platform is used so we can improve it
  • Preference cookies — remembering your settings and preferences

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

Children’s Privacy

Carely is a business platform for NDIS providers. It is not intended for use by individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top and notify you via email or in-platform notification for material changes.
